NTUU "KPI"
A research degree involves sustained, in-depth study of a specific area, which is then written up as a thesis for presentation. Currently the Welding Faculty of NTUU "KPI" offers two areas for post-graduate research:

Degree awarded: PhD, DSc
Duration: 3 years (full time)
Teaching languages available: Ukrainian, Russian
Entry requirements: For PhD program applicants normally Ukrainian Specialist qualification/ MSc degree or overseas equivalent in welding, mechanical engineering or metallurgy. For an assessment of individual entry qualifications (including DSc program applicants), candidates should contact the Office of International Affairs of the Welding Faculty directly.
Course fees: For entry in 2012, the tuition fees per annum are 4500 USD for PhD degree and 6000 USD for DSc degree. For further fee information please visit Tuition and Fees
